This digital soil moisture sensor is simple to use—just insert it into the soil to measure its moisture or water content. It provides a digital output of 5V when moisture levels are high and 0V when they're low. 

The sensor includes a potentiometer to set the desired moisture threshold. When moisture exceeds this threshold, the digital output goes high, and an LED lights up. If moisture is below the threshold, the output stays low. The digital output can be connected to a microcontroller for moisture level detection. It also provides an analog output that can be connected to the ADC of a microcontroller for precise moisture readings.
