The MQ-4 Gas Sensor Module is designed to detect the presence of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), methane (CH4), and other gases in the air. It uses the MQ-4 sensor and simplifies the interface with standard 4 x 0.1″ header pins. The module provides both an analog output, which reflects gas concentration, and a digital output with a threshold set by the onboard potentiometer. The sensor detects natural gas concentrations from 200 to 10,000 ppm.
With a 5V connection, you can easily measure gas concentration by setting the threshold. An onboard LED signals the presence of gas, and microcontrollers can interface with the digital output. The analog output can be connected to an ADC for detailed readings. This module is ideal for detecting methane (CH4) and other natural gas concentrations.
