BW16-Kit Development Board
The BW16-Kit is a core development board created by B&T, designed specifically for the BW16 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth module. Inspired by the classic NodeMCU layout, it routes all I/O to standard pin headers on both sides for seamless prototyping on breadboards. The board also features an onboard RGB LED and allows easy connection to various peripherals, making it a versatile platform for embedded development.
At its core, the BW16 module is powered by the Realtek RTL8720DN SoC, supporting dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz & 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy. It integrates a dual-core architecture with an ARM Cortex-M4F for high-performance processing and a Cortex-M0 for low-power operation. The module includes full 802.11 a/b/g/n WLAN, Bluetooth, MAC, and RF functionality, along with ample GPIO options for peripheral control.
The BW16-Kit is ideal for developers looking to build IoT applications with robust wireless connectivity and low power consumption, while also supporting full Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 protocol stacks for rapid and efficient development.
